Laser Removal of Blood Vessels, Pigmentation, Acne
The light energy emitted from the device is absorbed by hemoglobin (the red pigment in the blood). The blood undergoes coagulation or evaporation, causing the blood vessel to be destroyed from the inside. After some time, the vessel is naturally removed from the body. To close broken blood vessels, 2 to 5 treatments performed over several months may be needed. This depends on the number, diameter, and color of the vessels as well as their depth. If the vessel or pigmentation is large or a large area is treated, swelling, bruising, or redness may appear after the procedure. Indications for the procedure: vascular changes, telangiectasia, congenital hemangiomas, vascular neurosis, erythema.
